It’s always exciting to have your friends and family guessing the answer to the age old question, “is it a boy or a girl?” The fact that someone has a 50/50 chance of getting it right really amplifies the excitement, which is why gender reveal parties are so exciting!
These days, people are coming up with new and creative ways to reveal the gender of their baby. From balloon pops, color smoke, and cutting cakes to fireworks and hitting color chalk baseballs, the ideas are getting more and more extravagant!

Katie was no different! If anything, her idea for her daughters gender reveal was the most extravagant! When she came to us about balloons for her daughters gender reveal, we were blown away by how big she wanted to go, but also so excited to get started!
We quickly realized that this job was going to be one of our biggest! For reference, they were revealing the gender by flying a helicopter around their property with a giant sign revealing the gender of the baby! Incredible isn’t it! So for a big gender reveal like that, she needed big décor to match! With her colors being shades of pink and blue, we created a plethora of organic pieces all around the property, which were also very big!
When guests first pull up to their driveway, they are first met with a giant organic balloon arch they can drive under to enter their property.
Once parked they notice the front porch is lined with an organic balloon garland down the stair railings and a beautiful organic garland across the front door.
To guide them to the backyard, the path is lined with topiary yard poles with matching blue and pink ribbon. These balloon topiaries surrounded the entire backyard area, probably counting up to 20 total.
The first thing you notice when you enter the backyard is their stunning pool! Here we added 6 floating pool marquees. 2 of them had foil questions marks and the other 4 each had a letter spelling out the word baby.
We added 2 more long garlands around the backyard. One across the balcony overlooking the backyard and the other on one of the staircase railings.
But the main photo op piece we got to create for them was a gorgeous demi arch balloon backdrop with sheer white curtains and 2 sets of baby blocks filled with small pink and blue balloons. Very beautiful piece that led to great photos!
This job was a big one, but our team had a blast doing it! We had all hands on deck for this one, but we got it done and Katie and her family were so happy with the results!
